Court-Ordered Diversion Programs for Adolescents and Adults
Goal Directed Behavior
Participants learn to recognize negative behavior patterns that lead to self-doubt and poor choices that contribute to their legal offenses. Through cognitive re-framing, the program leads participants to their ultimate goals in life such as: learning how to hold themselves accountable for their actions; increasing self-esteem by understanding their values; and having empathy for others.
Anger Management
We utilize curricula from leading certified trainers. The Century Anger Management format includes eight tools and helpful information on topics such as stress management, empathy, assertive communication, forgiveness, expectation management, self-talk, judgment and impulse control management, and much more.
The three coordinated and integrated components of Aggression Replacement Training (ART) include: social skills training; anger control; and moral reasoning. Social skills training teaches participants how to exchange antisocial behaviors for positive alternatives. Anger control skills help participants learn how to respond to anger non-aggressively in anger-infused situations. Moral reasoning increases a participants’ awareness of the others’ rights by increasing their own sense of fairness and justice.
Parenting Education Classes
Participants learn parenting skills that lead to thriving children and positive parent-child interactions. Core topics of the co-parenting classes include, among others: impact on children and their reaction to separation and divorce; effects of anger and conflict on children; co-Parenting styles; and effective and ineffective communication styles.
Child Custody Recommending Counseling
The professional provider facilitates child custody-related interviews with parents, children, and/or others that are part of the legal custodial matter. The professional provider also assists in developing a parenting plan that can be adapted as needs change.
Professional Supervised Child Visitation
The professional provider participates in services related to court-ordered child visitation.
Weapons Charges
Participants learn the parameters for legal possession and use of weapons.
Job Readiness
This program prepares participants for success in life by teaching employment skills, such as: effective resume writing; interviewing preparation and techniques; and career retention.
Life Skills Programs for Adolescents and Adults
Conflict Resolution
Participants learn to communicate and reach resolutions that end disputes with a “win-win” for everyone.
Moral Reasoning
Learn to analyze and apply reasoning to aid in the determination of what is right and what is wrong. Moral reasoning increases participants’ awareness
of the others’ rights and increases their own sense of fairness and justice.
Stress Management
The program helps participants learn to self-identify internal and external stressors and how to alleviate stressful situations. Participants create and utilize Personal Stress Management plans to have a less stressful life.
Problem Solving
Participants learn to dissect problems, the components involved, and how to discuss what methods to use in order to find alternative resolutions.
Job Readiness
These eight-to-twelve week programs prepare participants for success in life by teaching employment skills, such as: effective resume writing; interviewing preparation and techniques; and career retention.
Empowerment
Participants develop life skills that enhance their parenting experiences, employment opportunities, self-enhancement, or higher education goals.

Participants learn to understand normal and abnormal responses to anger and aggression and manage and gain awareness of their own triggers. Participants learn strategies that create positive outcomes and enable them to take responsibility for their actions.
